Hinata is a shy fifth grader who ends up caring for Chris, his grandfather's Shiba Inu. Chris is apparently a highly distinguished former police dog, but he's not the most reliable pooch-he's terrified of bugs! One day while Hinata and Chris are out on a walk, a patrol car siren blares: There's been a jewel heist in the neighborhood!
