Joan Wayne Starrett is asleep and can't wake up. Nightveil summons The Shade who can enter dreams. The mystic duo delve into Ms. Victory's dream world to encounter Ms. Morpheus, an entity whose intent is to render the population unconscious. A struggle to bring Ms. Victory back to reality ensues.
