After barely escaping from a mad man and his house of horrors, Sara knows more than ever before about the virus and how it affects human hosts. Better capable now of handling the difficult situations headed their way. But with no time to rest and the motivation to keep moving onward, the group must find a way to get into The Big Apple. Loaded with supplies to make the journey including a military grade walkie-talkie, the team announce their presence and hint at the need for an ally to guide them into the island. Not knowing who's listening on the other end, whether friend or foe, they must take the risk as they get closer to the Holland Tunnel entrance. Issue seven takes you back to the summer of 2005 in the Eastern seaboard, from New Jersey to New York City, reminiscing about the iconic places that once were was years ago in the city that never sleeps.
